Green Man Wall Plaques

A green man is any sculpture, drawing or other representation of a face surrounded by or made from leaves. In the UK the green man was originally a pagan symbol, primarily it is interpreted as a symbol of rebirth representing the cycle of re-growth each spring. This pagan symbol was adopted into Christianity at a time when Christians were trying to convert the pagans and you can find examples of green men carved in wood, stone or plaster, in ancient churches, chapels and abbeys across the country.

Our interpretation of the Green Man are designed as garden plaques and come with screw holes to be attached to your fence or wall.
